Volunteering

General Criteria

To be a general volunteer:
There needs to be some awareness of being trauma-informed around childhood abuse, and know what non-dualistic spirituality is about. Though we may have our expertise or specialty, no one is an expert. We work in a non-hierarchal way.

To be on the podcast as a guest:
You do not need to be a ThetaHealing practitioner or instructor, but be trauma-informed, and understand what non-dualistic spirituality is through ThetaHealing Technique. Our conversations are geared that way.

To volunteer and be listed on the website for personal services:
We have approval from the ThetaHealing Institute to use the ThetaHealing brand in the revised Moving Beyond books.  There is a specific criteria in working with their approval. Since the ThetaHealing Technique is the foundation in our project and books, we are asking volunteers, who want to be listed in providing personal services on the website (other than website technicians), have a minimum of the Basic ThetaHealing course. This is so there is a baseline understanding of our non-dualistic approach, the material, and with respect to the ThetaHealing brand.

For ThetaHealing instructors wanting to be listed, a current certificate from the ThetaHealing Institute (4 yrs from last renewal date) is needed.  Additionally, be able to teach a class partially audited by either Debbie or Judy to make sure that the approach is trauma-informed through the spiritual/psychological principles in the Moving Beyond books. Once the practicums for the revised books are created, we will ask that you participate so you can have a certificate of being trauma-informed through the book's awareness.

Those who are active ThetaHealing practitioners will need to have a current certificate from the ThetaHealing Institute (5 yrs. from last renewal date) to be on the website.

We are open to discussing the criteria.

Positions Available Within Our Foundation

Fundraising

Develop and maintain effective relations with donors, supporters and other relevant agencies.

Organize (online) events and campaigns to raise money, design promotional materials and increase awareness of our organization’s work, goals, and financial needs.

Help create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors.

Promotion Copy

From time to time we will need copy for promotion of the podcasts, trainings or other products and services

Skills needed: Written English needs to be above proficient level.

Webpage Maintenance

Help with ongoing website updates and webpage changes.

Skills needed: Working knowledge of basic HTML and basic understanding of web development.

Facebook Marketing

Raw content provided with the need to create a placard or FB post for optimal engagement, schedule posts according to decided outlined plan.

Create and implement FB marketing campaign

Skills needed: FB marketing, FB account and willingness to spend time on FB; Ability to use app like paint.net or canva.com to create placards. Ability to schedule posts directly to FB or use a third party tool like Hootsuite or Smarterqueue.

Podcast/Video Support

Minor audio or video editing

Make files available on various platforms

Skills needed: audio and video editing; awareness of working of Zoom; ability to publish podcasts/video to various platforms like iTunes, Spotify and YouTube
